At sunrise we took off from Chilongolo and flew north at low altitude to the village of Macha where we would visit a mission Hospital, and see first hand a remote village in the bush going thru amazing change. The airfield we landed at is called "All Blessings From A
bove." It was built by hand and took over 1 1/2 years with over 150 workers. They had to clear the land, trees, grass, and cut out a runway. They built the runway in faith hoping that an airplane would come. The first airplane to land at Macha was from Flying Mission and over 2000 inhabitants came out to see the airplane. Since then, other mission partners have joined and the community is growing and developing. They have fought back Malaria, and are now working on TB and HIV/AIDS.
